I'll only stay with you...

Yesterday was my amazing sister's birthday. We celebrated all week and it was pretty bittersweet because I left for school today. I am blogging in a hotel room as we speak.
Last night, Rosee came with me as my date and we went out for drinks with my sis and some of her friends at King's Row Gastropub in Old Town Pasadena. I've gotta say, it's my new favorite night time place. It was pretty hoppin'. I had a great time and she had a great time and I'm glad.
I was really happy I got to celebrate her birthday with her. Since I've been in college we've always celebrated in Santa Cruz every year, but somehow this year it worked out. I love that lady.

I'm going to miss her a lot. xo
See you all again soon, and I'll be in Santa Cruz then! Smiles.

Hey all!
So I'm back after what seems like forever. Things have been really crappy lately but still alright. So a couple weeks ago, Veronica and I went to a party at her friend's apartment. Just for the record, we never party. Or let me rephrase, we haven't partied in a while. We like to go out and shop or see a movie or something but yeah. So the night that we actually go out, someone spills something on my phone. I went one week without a phone and that seems dramatic but my computer also hasn't been working which explains my absence here. I'm in effing college and my phone and computer weren't working.
But yesterday was good since I got my new iPhone. Yup, I gave in. I will certainly miss my trusty Blackberry. So many memories on that thing. As far as the computer thing goes, I can deal until spring break. There's the library and what not.

This past Friday, Veronica and I had a little date night and saw The Vow. We loved it. Go see it. I'm in love with Rachel McAdams all the time. And I don't usually like Channing Tatum sometimes but his movies that consist of great women, ie. Dear John, always make me like him. Also the fact that his body is not hard to look at, makes it easy to like him as well. Smiles.
So I have a four day break this weekend thank goodness, especially since I haven't been studying for the three exams I have this week. I'm counting the days until spring break which means I come home and The Hunger Games.
So yeah. I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day. And happy anniversary to my parents today. Smiles.
Love you all. xo

Here's to you...

Merry day after Christmas everybody!
I hope you all got what you wanted since you wouldn't have to go to any of the busy malls today. I was fortunate enough to get stuff I actually liked from my amazing family. Thank goodness. No returns here. Smiles.

So as you may have seen from last year's Christmas post, and the year before that, my family and I celebrate Christmas mostly on the eve but we see other family on the actual day. Filipinos have this thing called Noche Buena where we have a little feast on the night of Christmas Eve and then exchange gifts at midnight. We were at my parents' house this year and it was a grand time. More pictures to come.

We are shining...

How's everyone's holiday shopping?
I'm almost done thank goodness. I've realized during Christmas time, people spend more time hustling and bustling than enjoying the company of others at actual Christmas events.
But anyway, I'm so excited for this week. Exactly one week until Christmas. I also get to sleep over my sister's house and of course we are going to have a jammin' time. Oh and today is the season finale of Dexter. Big smiles all around.

I didn't get to post this earlier but last weekend I went a family event where my sister sang. It was the first time this season where I got to wear a party dress. I had a good time. I ate lots of cupcakes.

Live passionately tonight...

So it is Thursday but I have an Inspiration Wednesday for you guys.
I apologize for not doing this yesterday but I am here now and that's all that matters.

My dumb closed eyes. I was just too happy...

Last night I went to Monrovia's Christmas parade and got inspired by all of the Christmas spirit. Also, I watched Elf before I went to sleep too, but anyway. I thought about what to wear to a holiday party since everyone out there has at least one Christmas party to go to during the holidays.
I go to many family parties and friends parties during Christmas and what do I see? A sea of black. Winter time doesn't mean wear black even though I know it makes sense. I've been guilty of wearing the LBD because it just always looks good. You don't have to listen to me (since I'm wearing another black dress this Saturday to a family party), but I think you should. Any color could be worn during the holidays as long as it's done right.
On Thanksgiving, I'm sure all of you watched A Very Gaga Thanksgiving and how incredible it was. Though the majority of what Lady Gaga wore was black, she changed it a couple times and threw in some different colors. I loved every single outfit.

Anyway, smiles.

Watch this amazing music video.

I got the moves...

Surprise baby girl Kristen!!

So my bestie K had no idea that her boyfriend Dayton was throwing her a going away party last night. It was great. She thought we were going out for a girls night which would have been good too but having everyone there was better. I will really miss that little girl. I'm not ready to say goodbye to her yet. I've never been super far away from her. BYU. Santa Cruz. Not that close.
But anyway she had a great time and I'm glad.

I only have a couple pictures before we went out since I brought my 35mm. I need to develop pictures faster. I'm kinda bad at that. Anyway I wore the skirt I bought at Fairfax and it turned out pretty well. Everyone looked great. I will update this once I have the pictures.

Oh and hello!! Veronica is here everyone!! Woo.
More pictures later. Let's see if tonight is as successful as last night.

I'll eat you up...

So you all know that I was fierce Ke$ha last Saturday at the famous Alex Mendoza's Nicki Minaj/Britney Spears/Ke$ha party. I had glitter all over my face and I still do even two days after the party. But I loved it. I only had my 35mm camera unfortunately so I will post those pictures from the night when I get the film developed. That's the only downside to not having a good digital to post pictures right away. However, thankfully, my sis at Lainey Turns the Camera On had her trusty camera as always and she got some shots of me before I left.
I absolutely loved my outfit. I made two pieces of my outfit myself and the shorts I ripped a little bit more. I made the GET SLEAZY shirt with spray paint and I made a feather earring which surprisingly turned out really well. I'm planning on making more feathers so I can sell them. I wore the earring along with the red feathers I got from By Samii Ryan which I posted about a while ago. The rest of the outfit I already had in my closet. Not a surprise, for I love buying costume-y pieces of clothing. You never know when you'll need them.
I will post pictures from the night once I get my roll developed.

I notice that you got it...

I have been invited to a Nicki Minaj/ Britney Spears/ Ke$ha party for their Till The World Ends Remix by the famous Alex Mendoza, which is tomorrow night. I already know what I'm wearing and who I'm going as, which is Ke$ha since it's the easiest for me. I have a lot of stuff she would wear. If I had the money, I would go all out for a Gaga outfit, obviously. But I don't, so it's Ke$ha, who I still love.
I went on Polyvore and made some outfits to wear if I were going as Nicki or Brit. And I made a Ke$ha one for funsies. Smiles.

That's all they really want...

This past weekend I went home to celebrate bester Kristen's 18th birthday party and Easter. Both of those days were great. I had an amazing time.
Downside was that I lost my middle knuckle ring I wear every day. I've lost that thing so many times I thought there was hope. I even lost it at the beach in sand! But this time, no dice. Even when Andy looked for it. And he always finds my rings. So yeah it's really gone. Time to find a replacement.
But anyway.
The weekend soundtrack consisted of the 80's and a totally 80's prom night. The dress I wore belongs to Kristen's mom and it was a perfect fit. I shortened it a big smidgen to make it more modern. And I like my legs so why not? You can't see it in any of the pictures but I had a gigantic red bow in my hair to pin it back. It was a fun night. There were lots of laughs, games, and good times. All I needed was John Cusack outside of my house holding a boombox.
What else can you expect from an 80's prom? Um, everything.
Need I say more?

This place about to blow...

Tonight was the Ke$ha episode of Glee and it was one of my favorite episodes of Glee of all time.
It made me want to have a Ke$ha party where everyone has to dress up and sprinkle glitter everywhere.
Of course, then I went on Polyvore and thought of what I would wear.

I just want to feel today...

Besters in Santa Cruz means a jammin' time.

A couple of the besties came to visit me in Santa Cruz this weekend since there was no school today because of Presidents Day. Great weekend to party. And party we did.
They left this morning and I was pretty bummed out. I loved having Monrovia friends and Santa Cruz friends mingle with each other. I was sad that roomie Veronica went to Bakersfield and she didn't get to meet them but it's all good. I have a feeling that she will soon. I didn't get any outfit pictures except that last one and that was only an accident. But you can see some glimpses of what I wore. Being with friends was definitely a cheering up time.
My parents also had their 33rd anniversary this past weekend and I wish I could have celebrated with them. But they have a surprise from me heading their way thanks to Kristen.
I am so glad for this day. It was a great day off. I did some laundry with Shawn and we got some soup at the grocery store and watched some episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Very good day. Veronica just needs to come back and we'll be complete. She needs to get caught up on some things. Smiles.

I keep dancing on my own...

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!
I just wanted to tell all of you about my amazing two days.

First of all, my 19th birthday party was two nights ago at the Andy man's house and I had a great time. It was a more grown up party compared to my 18th and I loved it. I was very much like Blair Waldorf at her 20th birthday party. A couple people were missing but it was a wonderful night. The bester Rosee Rose took some amazing pictures of the night. I just wish she was in at least one of them.

Gossip Girl (Episode 7) "War at the Roses"

Second of all, yesterday Rosee Rose took some pretty amazing pictures of the The Lesser Panda in good old Monrovia. I will post those soon, once I get them. I'm excited.
After that, us and a couple other people had dinner in LA in the art district at Wurstküche, which was yummy. I loved everything I had there, even Jeff's rattlesnake and rabbit sausage. We took more pictures and had a fun night. It made me want to stay in Monrovia longer than I'm going to.

Getting slizzard...

Oh midterms. Why do you have to happen the day after Halloween?
Yes. I am blogging when I am supposed to be studying. But oh well.

Today is Halloween, but we all celebrated last night and had a grand old time.

Those boys left this morning so I was really bummed because they just got here and now they're gone.
But guess what the boyf and I went as...

Yes, we were Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Anyway, I'm going to keep this short.
Have a safe Halloween everyone.
Don't party too hard. I learned that the hard way. Smiles.

That's loved by you...

So. Last night I did my last show for a Monrovia High School production.
It was very sad, especially when we were singing our finale after the bows. Bester Eddie started crying during the last number which made me almost start crying. But after the show when we were giving out cast gifts, the moment Mr. Segal said "Seniors step forward" I started crying a ton. Everyone started crying a ton. I will definitely miss these moments.

It's getting down to the wire. I'm really sad it's ending.
All of my biggest supporters were there and it made me incredibly happy.

Brighter notes: cast parties at Denny's are the best. Two different Denny's in two nights. Woo!
