Just keep your eyes on me...

So it's been a minute and I am so very sorry about that but I have definitely missed posting on here.
Since I moved to LA from Santa Cruz it's pretty much been the usual happenings until about two months ago. I was doing a million and a half things and gained so much knowledge in a short amount of time but I guess it was fun while it lasted. I'm really just appreciative of everything around me right now.
However, with that being said, this is the first time I'm posting on here in a while and it feels like I can breathe again. I'm doing things that I did not realize I missed very much and the fact I have the time to do them makes me incredibly happy. I'm really thankful for the people around me for just being there and showing me that there's more. I've struggled with a lot this year, but getting through it and accepting it makes me really hopeful for next year. There's so much for me to learn and experience and I can't wait.

I'm not going to keep being sappy but it is the holidays and there's much to be said about that. 2014 has been a whirlwind and I can't wait for what's to come next year. I've been all over the place as far as my sanity is concerned but being 22 (almost 23), I think that's a completely acceptable state of being. I think now is my time to stay up too late, go to a random country, love too much and just be my own person. I'm out of college now and I have all the time in the world to make decisions and do all the things I want to do.

With that being said, on a completely unrelated note, this blog does exist to express my style ramblings and whatnot so I thought why not see a couple of the favorite outfits I wore throughout the year to round out 2014.

As you may have guessed, I'm a bit more active on Instagram.
Talk to you soon I promise. xo

Let 'em wonder...

Okay so April was definitely not a good month of blogging for me.
There was just a lot of school stuff and working a lot and trying to find places to live in June and just gah. It sounds like excuses but I'm physically exhausted. I'm so jealous of the peeps who have finals coming up because at least they will be done with this school year. I'm barely on midterms right now. But enough complaining. I decided to just do a quick post before I get back to work on thesis writing.

If ya'll don't know a certain blogger Lua Perez from Le Happy then you are missing out. I've mentioned her a few times on here and posted some of her outfits as inspiration because this girl can do no wrong in my opinion and to prove that, I'm going to show you the amazeballs-ness that is her new line for Romwe.

Today she finally debuted her Le Happy x Romwe collaboration and it's great. The pieces she designed were everything that I could imagine her wearing/designing. So many good neutral and versatile pieces that anyone can wear. I can't wait to snag me some. She's just absolutely great, go see for yourself. Here are some of my favorites.

Then they dive in it...

So I told you a couple weeks ago that I was going to do some fun Halloween projects this month with Slug Style. I've only been part of the club and going to meetings for a couple of weeks, but it's been really fun so far. It's nice to hang out with people that share the same interests as you and to get inspired by people's ideas that you've never really thought about before. We're starting to get our shiz together about becoming an official club on campus since we're still kind of a baby at the moment. But I'm really excited about what's to come and all the projects we're going to do this year.
Last week, we had our first photoshoot of the year and it was pretty much a success. We all came together  and worked hard but also had great fun. When we were in planning mode, I took the role of stylist with a couple of other people for the shoot. We all went thrifting downtown to look for pieces to style. The shoot was obviously planned for Halloween but the actual theme was "wearable witch" which was right up my alley. Every look we styled I wanted so badly, even though I knew most of it wouldn't have fit me. However, I did somehow end up being one of the models for the shoot because of people not showing up and what not. Yeah, that's me in the hat. Go me doing two jobs!
Veronica did the make up for the shoot (on her birthday no less) and she did a great job. We celebrated later that night with burgers and milkshakes (what else?). Oh and we also did a little impromptu photoshoot that night. It looked so creepy outside, we just had to. Anyway, I thought I'd show you some behind the scenes shots Veronica and I took before and during the shoot. The last one is a little preview I posted on Instagram. Can't wait to show you the final shots. Smiles.

I'm trying to get into the hang of blogging again, at least once a week. It's just been really hard recently especially because I had midterms this week.
But I love you guys and I hope you are having a great October! xo

I'm trying to get a hold on this...

I forget how much I love blogging until I actually see a blank space in front of me.
I miss telling you guys about what's going on in my life and all that jazz. I mean there's Twitter but it's completely different. I've actually been so busy for the past couple of weeks. We said goodbye to Andy last week but also welcomed Panchy into town. I hadn't seen her in so long since she moved to Portland. We've had so much fun this past week, she's going back tomorrow. Also tomorrow, I'm going to Bakersfield to see my girl Veronica since I haven't gone to visit her yet and she's driven to Monrovia four times already. It's my turn.

I figured I would just show you guys what I've been up to, and what better way than through my Instagram pictures. There have been lots of drives with Christine, slurpees from 7-Eleven, and late nights, which make for an amazeballs summer so far.

xo
By the way, has the Olympics taken over your tv life like it has mine? I love it so much. My tweets prove that. Obsessed.

Oh and this new song by No Doubt is basically the best thing ever. How I have missed them. Smiles.

I see right through you...

I might just talk today since I haven't done that in a while. Maybe I'll put some pictures up from Memorial Day weekend. We'll see how I'm feeling by the end of this.
First off, happy June to all. I posted a total of three times last month which is not good. Only one of the posts was an Inspiration Wednesday too, so I feel bad about neglecting that. I'm almost done with school this year, only a couple weeks until I go home, so I'm counting the days. And I will definitely post a lot more this summer. Smiles.

This past weekend was somewhat enjoyable. I got to spend a lot of time with my family and friends which is always good. We all went to the fiesta, ate yummy food, and had a grand old time. I even had time for some retail therapy and bought some stuff. Maybe you guys will see them in a outfit post pretty soon.

So that was nice. If you follow me on Twitter or Tumblr, you may already know how I'm feeling up here in Santa Cruz. Some stuff happened a couple days ago over the weekend, and it's literally exhausting me. I'm just annoyed and tired of it all, every day I'm just kinda bummed out and all I want to do is eat food and watch Netflix in the comfort of my room. I don't usually tell people why I'm feeling a certain way, but that's my cross to bear I guess. Also, the having to go to school part of all this just puts another damper on what I want to do. But I guess that's life. You think it's going a certain way and then it becomes a crap festival, and everyone only cares about their problems. So yeah that's basically how I'm feeling right now.
This whole week has just been really weird. That Monday off of school kinda threw me off too. I want to go home so badly and hang out with my sister who is basically the only person I can count on. I love that lady.

But enough of me pooping on your party. I'll reward you beautiful people for getting through me talking my face off and complaining. Here are some captures of my weekend with lovely people.

Sorry if this was super long and annoying. Just wanted to put some stuff out there. Maybe I should start making rant videos on Youtube. Anyway, I'll see you soon. Hopefully I'll be in a better mood. All I can say is thank God it's Friday. Maybe I'll have a date night with my girl Veronica. We deserve it.
Love you all.

We're doing it right...

It feels like it's been forever since I've posted on this. I don't know what it is but lately, I've just been a lazy bum. Maybe it's because I'm going home for Memorial Day weekend and I can't wait to see my fambam and besties that I can't really concentrate on anything else except for food and my phone.

So today I thought I would just update you on some things and talk about my weekend which was super fun. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I went to Santa Cruz Flea Market two days in a row with Veronica and got some fun stuff. It was so hot this weekend, I kinda got a weird tan. Also there was a Pride festival on Saturday which was fun too. There was free food and performances and rainbows and all that jazz.
Also did anyone see the solar eclipse?

DIY WOLF SHIRT - EBAY/ FLORAL JEANS - F21/ MINNETONKA BOOTS/ VINTAGE DOONEY BAG/ LE SPECS SUNGLASSES

A couple other things.
I'm starting to get into this 90's grunge funk and I love it. Just take a look at my Tumblr. I wore these floral jeans basically all weekend. I'm also wearing them as I write this. Smiles. I bought them last year but I gained weight so I stopped wearing them. They fit me again and I forgot how much I love them.
Also t-shirts. I forgot how awesome just a simple t-shirt and jeans combo looks. I got this wolf shirt (yup, wolves again) on Ebay and cut it up. It's like my new favorite shirt.
I absolutely can't wait for my summer to start. I hate seeing my friends being done with school already. I'm super jelly. Anyway.
See you soon. I'll try harder this time. Last time I said that I didn't go on here for two weeks.

The simple thought of you...

For Inspiration Wednesday today, I thought I would bring you something that I've been obsessing over ever since I got my phone, so it's been a couple months now. I've talked about this before in a collective Inspiration Wednesday and some of my other posts, but I figured I would dedicate an entire post to it. Yes, I'm talking about Instagram!
It's weird because it's basically Twitter since on Twitter you can put pictures up along with your tweets but I feel like it's so much more fun. I love seeing what people put on there because they're so random and I love it.
I also love it because if I don't feel like doing a formal blog post about my outfit, I still sneak a photo in there for people to see. It's casual and it's really fun seeing what other bloggers and friends are doing at the moment.
So if you don't follow me on Instagram or don't have Instagram, here are some of my recent photos that are on there and you should get one and follow me - @queenvictoriareigns. Smiles.

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week. I will hopefully blog this weekend in Monrovia. If you want to see me and my shenanigans in the meantime, follow me on Instagram - @queenvictoriareigns.

So let's set the world on fire...

I apologize for being a bad blogger.
It's December and I hate that I'm not giving you guys any Christmas cheer. From now on, I promise I will be here for you all. So I missed Inspiration Wednesday this week (again), but don't worry I have one for you guys and it's a goody.

I'm surprised I haven't done an Inspiration Wednesday on this yet because it's a big part of my life. I've talked about this many times before on this blog and that is Glee. Since this show began three years ago, I knew I always had something to turn to because no matter what was happening, this show could make me smile. There are no other shows about music or theatre, so being the drama queen I am, Glee has been perfection in everything to me and no one should be surprised that I am completely in love with this show.

I thought about doing Glee for Inspiration Wednesday because on Wednesday something amazing happened. I was hanging out with bestie/honeybee Eddie in Pasadena and we decided to check out the Glee filming that was happening. We ended up meeting a couple people and we were ecstatic. Smiles.

With Cory Montieth, who we almost didn't recognize because of his huge ass parka. He was so sweet.

This is Grant Gustin who plays Sebastian. Even more gorgeous in person. He told Eddie he looked like Blaine.

Eddie and his Warblers, Curt Mega, Dominic Barnes, and Riker Lynch. They were so fun and so nice.

Such a great night. Could have been a little better if we met more people but we actually did see Lea Michele, Chord Overstreet, and Chris Colfer.
Smiles.

Loved this song already, so I was extremely happy that the Glee cast covered it last week.

Heaven is place on earth with you...

Hi blog family!
So a couple of things.

1. I haven't had internet in my apartment for the longest time so I've trekked to the library of all places to do my blogging. That is how much I love you all. Since I don't have internet I've been bugging Veronica and watching Youtube videos with her since she has internet. We saw that Urban Decay is coming out with a second Naked Palette. I really wanted the first one... And now I want the second one.

2. The next time I'll be blogging probably won't be until I get home for winter break because of all of the finals and studying and packing and what not I need to do before Tuesday which is when I'm coming home. Thank the Lord. Thanksgiving break was not long enough.

3. I'm really happy I thought about Inspiration Wednesday because it keeps me thinking about my blog and giving all of you guys something to read. So today is another one I'm excited to show you.

4. My last post about Thanksgiving didn't have a Christmas Lust List ending attached to it because I didn't have any more to show you guys but never fear. I have another set of things added to my list.

So first, the inspiration.

We all know how close I am with my sister. As you can see, my inspiration this week is sisters. Especially since I am super excited for my photoshoot with my big sissy this coming break. She is a huge inspiration in my life in everything and we love other sisters who inspire us.
1. Dakota and Elle Fanning (These girls are practically cherubs. Love them.)
2. Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian (Don't care what people say, they are so entertaining to watch. Haha.)
3. Natalie and Dylana Suarez (My sister, along with these two girlies, made me want to start blogging. Smiles.)
4. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Um, duh.)

Here's an update on the Christmas Lust List.

All the over the knee socks I have are black. Why is that? I now want these red ones and some charcoal gray ones. Yay.
Beautiful. Enough said.
It's really bad because I want these only because I see them everywhere. But I really do want a pair. I think they're cutesies.
On Black Friday, my sister and I saw this book at Barnes & Noble and our jaws dropped. It's a huge as balls book. I just thought, Oh my god, all my dreams. (If you get my reference I'll love you forever.)

Also thank you to my sister who showed me this song.
