Here we go back...

Another outfit post what? I know. I surprised myself too.
We went to Santa Monica yesterday for my dear ol' dad's birthday celebrations and it was awesome. We shopped and walked and ate lots of food. I was kinda bummed that it was overcast when we were there, I mean I came home to have some nice sun. Every effing time I'm home, it's gross and murky, but hot, so it's a little worse. But despite that, we had a grand time. And my dad was happy.

VINTAGE DRESS/ F21 CARDIGAN/ JEFFREY CAMPBELL BOOTS/ NINE WEST FRINGE BAG/ MILANI LIPSTICK IN SWEET NECTAR

As you can see, since my last post was only a few days ago, I'm trying to post more. More outfits, specifically. I want to show you guys what I wear every day even if it's just for work or whatever. If I don't get it on Instagram, hopefully it'll be on here. I'm kinda bummed to be going back to Santa Cruz because there's never enough time for anything but I'm also relieved. I get to be in my cozy apartment and go to work. Also it's never too hot up north so it's pretty swell.
I'm so in the mood for big changes. Lately, I've been feeling a little out of it, like I don't know exactly what I'm feeling. Stuff is happening in da personal life and I can't deal with it at the moment. As I have said before, this isn't really a personal blog so I'll shut up. But if you are interested, follow my Tumblr and Twitter for quick updates on life and thoughts. The links are always at the end of my posts. Smiles.

*And if you didn't hear, a sweet prince named Cory Monteith was taken away from us. I was fortunate enough to meet him and I thank him for making me smile every time I watched him. Glee will never be the same. Rest in paradise. RIP*

So let's set the world on fire...

I apologize for being a bad blogger.
It's December and I hate that I'm not giving you guys any Christmas cheer. From now on, I promise I will be here for you all. So I missed Inspiration Wednesday this week (again), but don't worry I have one for you guys and it's a goody.

I'm surprised I haven't done an Inspiration Wednesday on this yet because it's a big part of my life. I've talked about this many times before on this blog and that is Glee. Since this show began three years ago, I knew I always had something to turn to because no matter what was happening, this show could make me smile. There are no other shows about music or theatre, so being the drama queen I am, Glee has been perfection in everything to me and no one should be surprised that I am completely in love with this show.

I thought about doing Glee for Inspiration Wednesday because on Wednesday something amazing happened. I was hanging out with bestie/honeybee Eddie in Pasadena and we decided to check out the Glee filming that was happening. We ended up meeting a couple people and we were ecstatic. Smiles.

With Cory Montieth, who we almost didn't recognize because of his huge ass parka. He was so sweet.

This is Grant Gustin who plays Sebastian. Even more gorgeous in person. He told Eddie he looked like Blaine.

Eddie and his Warblers, Curt Mega, Dominic Barnes, and Riker Lynch. They were so fun and so nice.

Such a great night. Could have been a little better if we met more people but we actually did see Lea Michele, Chord Overstreet, and Chris Colfer.
Smiles.

Loved this song already, so I was extremely happy that the Glee cast covered it last week.

Now it's time to sing along...

Some good things and bad things.
Of course, bad things first.

1. Two days ago, on my sister's birthday, R.E.M. broke up after thirty-one years. I was so bummed out. The moment I found out, me, Veronica and Shawn put on "Everybody Hurts" and just listened to some R.E.M. for a while. So sad. Can't get over it.

2. College textbooks suck! I need a job real bad.

3. My sister turned 26 the other day and I didn't get to celebrate her actual day with her and the parents. Yes we celebrated last weekend but still. I miss her already. But I'm sure she had a great day. Okay this one was good and bad. She's the greatest sissy ever.
We sent her this at midnight. Smiles.

Okay some good stuffs.

1. I'm pretty sure I have the best schedule ever. All I need is a job to fill my afternoons.
1a. Also I love having a kitchen. Boo dining halls. I just hope I don't gain any weight again.

2. Glee. This show can make me happy any time. I've heard it's been losing it's heat but I don't care. I will be a Gleek forever. I mean have you seen Cory Monteith in Cosmo? I wanna be that model. So. Bad.

3. Some new things made the Lust List.
3a. Zara now has online shopping which is the best ever. I'm in love with a lot of things from their September lookbook.

3b. Alexa Chung for Madewell. Love.

Anyway. Solid week so far. Pretty excited for the rest of my sophomore year.
Smiles.

And we're coming to town...

I'm feeling a little different. I'm finally going out tonight with some friends, even if it's just for boba. A lot of people in my life have left for school already and yes I know it's just for school but I'm feeling just a little bit lonely. I still have a little less than a month until I go back to Santa Cruz. That's feeling like a long time to me. But I thought about it, and I decided to spend as much time with the friends that are still here before I go back to school. Crisis handled.

So anyway when I was cleaning up today, I looked on Twitter and saw that the new promo for the third season of Glee came out today, which features the cast being pelted by dodgeballs. That's one video I saw of them today. The second was their promo for Fashion's Night Out on Sept. 8th in which the cast (missing the lovely Naya Rivera) looked absolutely gorgeous. It made me really happy that Chord Overstreet was still in the video even though he won't be a regular on the show anymore. The man is gorgeous. I couldn't decide which of the guys looked the most yum - Darren Criss in all red? Mark Salling strutting around in his aviators? Chord Overstreet and Cory Monteith in their sexy suits? Can't decide. What I did decide is that I want Lea Michele's super glam sequin dresses. Oh and the fact that they covered Sir David Bowie made me extremely happy.

Speaking of the beautiful cast, two of their lovely ladies are cover girls for magazines of the month of September. Love them.

Absolutely can't wait for season three Sept. 20th. Smiles.

Soon your cares will all be gone...

Do these look inappropriate to you?
If you're a parent in the Parent Television Council, you might think so. I'm not. So I love them.

I bought the GQ magazine with Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, and Lea Michele on the cover this past weekend. Apparently the PTC think it's "borderline pedophilia." I don't understand that because all three of them are over twenty-one years old.
I understand that the photos are racy and Glee can sometimes be pretty inappropriate (rarely) but sorry parents, you can't stop your kids from watching something because they will definitely find another way to watch it. And as far as the magazine goes, what kid knows about GQ magazine? Enough said.

But anyway, enjoy the photos. I absolutely love this shoot.
Oh and thanks to my parents, I have a little surprise planned this coming weekend.
