It's in the stars...

So June means I'm super close to summer time however, the weather decided to get into it's gloom phase lately which is dumb. But anyway, to get into the summer mood, I wanted to talk to you about one of my favorite things to wear this season and that is overalls.

Overalls kinda got super trendy this year which I'm all for because I totally forgot about them. We've all worn overalls before because they're just great so I'm glad they're back. Now I want every kind of pair I can get my hands on. I remember my favorite ones that I would wear in high school were this black high-waist not really denim pair that used to be my mom's. There's a photo of the two of us at Disneyland when I was about two and she's wearing them. It's one of my favorite outfits of hers. I just found the overalls the weekend I went home so I can't wait to do an outfit post on them.

It's 12/12/12 guys! And I am officially done with my finals and I'm going home tomorrow morn!

Now I have to finish packing. Oops.

But here you go! An outfit post finally!

This past weekend, Veronica and I went to two flea markets in Santa Cruz and had a grand old time. We bought some gifts for people and some other gifts for ourselves. Smiles.

I know it's like the middle of the week and I'm barely posting about the weekend but finals have been shit basically, to put it bluntly. I've really missed talking to you guys about my life and what not though.

All these little things...

It's dead week so finals are next week which means I get to go home soon. 

So basically I almost feel like a zombie but not quite. That doesn't start happening until finals start.

But I did promise some random posts in the absence of outfits. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to see what I'm wearing at this very moment. It's crunch time guys, comfort is key. Smiles.

I'll leave you now with what I'm currently loving at the moment. I might make a post like this every other week to keep you guys updated, maybe call it Fave Fives. Smiles.

1. Velvet everything.

The fabric of royalty and rock gods, I am so in love with this. I feel like anything velvet just adds to an outfit and now that it's winter and holidays-y outside, I look forward to rocking this.

2. Boy bands.

I've been a boy band girl since N*SYNC and the Spice Girls (which I do count as a boy band) so of course I found a new obsession called One Direction. Just don't get me started on these boys, they'll ruin your life like they have mine. Smiles.

3. Cool cats.

If you follow my Tumblr, you know how obsessed I am with cats, actual cats as well as videos of cats and clothes with cats on them, which is pretty sad since I don't even own a cat.

4. Beanies.

It's getting to the point where I basically wear one at some point in the day, every day of the week. If you gave me a beanie I love, I would seriously marry you. Also guys wearing beanies, le swoon.

5. Power naps.

Finals are a crap festival. There's always something I need to do or somewhere I need to go, but when you have forty minutes to spare or even ten, sleep is nice.

Because you love...

One final down, three more to go. Ugh.

I have some time to spare today since I only had my French final which is doneskies. I'm so excited for this week to be over so I can be back home for the summer. I'm kind of exhausted and tired, plus the heat is getting to me. Anyone else?

I just wanted to share some of the adventures I had this weekend with Veronica. We decided that every end of the school year, we will have some fun on the last weekend no matter how busy we are. You may have seen last year here and here, it was super cloudy and rainy and just weird. This weekend was hot as balls.
We went to a different flea market yesterday which was downtown this time so it was really close. This one only happens every second Sunday of the month so we were planning on going since last month. We were really excited about it. Veronica finally got her own Polaroid camera which was exciting. Hopefully she won't be like me and actually get some film for it and use it (Yeah, I haven't used mine since I got it in 2008). I only got a couple of things since I'm saving up for some Keds to wear to Warped Tour. I ended up getting a couple rings and some cool records since I can't not spend money. I always have to buy something. But that's my problem. Smiles.
But anyway Veronica vlogged throughout the day so you can see that on her new vlog channel when she puts it up or when I post it on here later. When we got home, we also filmed a little haul on her actual channel, so that might go on here later as well. But for now, here are some photos for you.

This will be quick or else I'll really stop studying. Smiles.

First of all, happy December everyone! I didn't get to tell you a couple days ago. It's down to the wire for finals. Veronica and I have been having some counterproductive study sessions so today we decided to buckle down. I'm currently in the library trying to be quiet with Veronica. Just saying, that is really hard.

Anyway. It's been a while since I've done a post where I just talked so hopefully you guys enjoy this. I wanted to do a quick Christmas-y post for you all and tell you what I am looking forward to this month.

- Being home in two days.

Monrovia has been hit very hard by the Santa Ana winds which sucks balls because our huge town Christmas tree fell down and our Christmas parade was cancelled this year. The city was out of power for about two days. Wish I was there to stick it out with everyone.

- Seeing friends and family.

I get to eat food that I didn't make and wreak havoc with my besties. Enough said.

- Photoshoots.

I have one planned with my sister which I'm very excited for and I need to plan one with the bestie Rosee Rose. Any more would be amazing as well.

-Baking.

The cake pops were a hit. So yummy treats with my family? I think yes.

- CHRISTMAS.

Every year just gets better and better for me. Hopefully that does not change this year.

- My 20th birthday.

Yes, I will be 20. Finally leaving my teen years. I made it this far. Who woulda thunk?

So yeah. That's all. Sorry if this post was disappointing. No Lust List today either because all of my November posts had things from the list and I'm running out of things on my Lust List to show you. It will only be every other post since Christmas is coming which makes me really happy.
