As we dance through the dark...

Gah, March is going by so quickly! Finals are next week which explains why I haven't been on here.
But I do have another quick outfit post for ya since I'm still trying very hard to update you guys on my life and what I'm wearing and what not.
I wanted to post this outfit in particular because I wanted to show you my new favorites at the moment, which are my Vagabond Dioon boots! I'm so stoked on them. I also thought they matched the dress really well. (Fun fact: the man got me this Evil Twin dress for Valentine's Day, yeah he knows me. Smiles.) I don't usually dress up every day. Lately it's been some sort of black pants with a tee or sweater and sneakers. So this was nice to document.

Also I just finished a research paper for one of my favorite classes I've ever taken here, my monsters class. Yes you heard right. Monsters. Today was the last day and I was pretty bummed to leave. I've recently realized that an onslaught of "lasts" are coming up soon in my time here at UC Santa Cruz and I'm really excited and sad about it all at the same time.

Anyway, just wanted to stop by. I may sneak another post or two in on here before the man and I depart for LA. xo

Because you love...

One final down, three more to go. Ugh.

I have some time to spare today since I only had my French final which is doneskies. I'm so excited for this week to be over so I can be back home for the summer. I'm kind of exhausted and tired, plus the heat is getting to me. Anyone else?

I just wanted to share some of the adventures I had this weekend with Veronica. We decided that every end of the school year, we will have some fun on the last weekend no matter how busy we are. You may have seen last year here and here, it was super cloudy and rainy and just weird. This weekend was hot as balls.
We went to a different flea market yesterday which was downtown this time so it was really close. This one only happens every second Sunday of the month so we were planning on going since last month. We were really excited about it. Veronica finally got her own Polaroid camera which was exciting. Hopefully she won't be like me and actually get some film for it and use it (Yeah, I haven't used mine since I got it in 2008). I only got a couple of things since I'm saving up for some Keds to wear to Warped Tour. I ended up getting a couple rings and some cool records since I can't not spend money. I always have to buy something. But that's my problem. Smiles.
But anyway Veronica vlogged throughout the day so you can see that on her new vlog channel when she puts it up or when I post it on here later. When we got home, we also filmed a little haul on her actual channel, so that might go on here later as well. But for now, here are some photos for you.

So this Carl fellow I speak of, asked me two very important questions today.

And I said yes to both of them.

One was this:

And the other, well, let's just say it's been a long time coming.

Unfortunately, I will be spending our weekend together on the AP Bio camping trip with no internet and no phone.

Yaaaaay me.

On my way...

I finally watched Up with who we shall call Carl for now, until I decide to reveal his identity. He calls me Ellie anyway, so it's pretty swell. I have to say, this movie has to be one of the best things out there. I mean, the only animated movie that I could remember crying in is The Fox and the Hound.

Let's just say, I absolutely love Up.

Also, last night was bestie Sarah's senior recital entitled "On My Way," where I sang a couple of songs. I loved being a part of it and I was very happy for her.

The sad news: I lost one of my favorite rings a few days when we were rehearsing. I didn't find it last night when we did the show, so it's officially gone. I'm really bummed about it, since my mom had given it to me.

All that's left to do is move on, I guess.

On a rainy Monday...

Now it's not Monday, but it rained these past few days.

I love the sky right after it rains in the afternoon. It's bright and gloomy at the same time, which doesn't make me feel so bummed about the rain.

Also, I found these beautiful Alex & Ani rings. Absolutely love them. And knowing me, there's no such thing as too many rings.

I'm very excited for the end of this week. We have a three day weekend, which I so incredibly need. Also, Valentine's Day is on Sunday. I hope I have a good time.
