I woke up like this...

In honor of awards season (Oscar noms were also announced today), I thought I would talk about something that I thought was pretty effing awesome.
And that something is Emma Watson's Golden Globes outfit. It's kinda great.

I mean she did something that I always want to see at these awards shows which is something different. Lately, awards season outfits have been so uniform to me and to be honest I've been really bored with all of it. I get having the ball gowns and what not at the Oscars but for the Golden Globes I feel like you could be more fun and interesting with it.
I loved this idea of the faux gown over pants. How comfortable was she during the ceremony?! She's such a great fashion inspiration (and with such a hot back!). So simple but so risky. One of my favorite parts about this outfit was that she was only wearing one earring.
She's kinda been under the radar recently but this was just like bam! And I knew I had to blog about it.

Anyway. See you soon with an outfit post. Crossing my fingers on that.

You hit me like a vision...

Fashion Week was upon us all. Yet who's outfits did I lust after?
The men.

Who doesn't love a well dressed man? And in suits no less. I cannot stop looking at these photos.
The ones that shined st Simon Spurr and Tommy Hilfiger were not the models, but the front rows.
Enjoy. I know I did.

Brad Goreski, Bryan Greenberg, Ed Westwick, and Sebastian Stan at Simon Spurr

Ed Westwick, Brad Richards, James Marsden, and Kellan Lutz at Tommy Hilfiger

My favorite look in particular was Kellan Lutz's three-piece suit. That man knows how to dress. Beautiful.

Speaking of beautiful, more Emma Watson for you. She's on the cover of Elle France this month. I couldn't help myself. Smiles.

Other news.
This is my last week in Monrovia before I go back to Santa Cruz. Hopefully, I will still be blogging as much as I would like to. I'm feeling torn right now because I want to go back but at the same time, I want to stay. All I know is, this week better jammin'.

You rose to claim it...

A couple of things.

I haven't blogged about her in forever and I'm really happy I'm doing it now.
Emma Watson.

If you haven't seen her in her new Lancôme commercial for Trésor Midnight Rose, first, shame on you for not seeing it because she's gorgeous. But it's all good, I've come to rescue you. Enjoy.

Lovely. I think she looks absolutely beautiful. Enough said.

Another thing. I'm going to the beach tomorrow for the first time this summer, which is unacceptable for me because it's almost fall. But I'm excited. I'm doing a mini photoshoot with the bester Rosee Rose.
Smiles.

Your dreams are the same as mine...

Emma Watson through the years...

Yes, I know this is not eight dresses for the eight movie premieres she has attended for Harry Potter, but I got carried away. Since Order of the Phoenix, she has gotten so much better at dressing for these events that I have decided to put both her world premiere dress with her US premiere dress in the timeline of her dresses for you all to enjoy. Before our very eyes, she has grown up to become an inspiration to me as a fashion goddess and also just an amazing person. Hers is the career I would want to have over anybody's. No drama, tabloids or anything. Just great movies, great fashion and modeling, and a wonderful personality.

I cannot wait for this movie to come out. Serious. I will weep.

It feels like home to me...

I really don't want this to end.
The last world premiere of Harry Potter happened two days ago in Trafalgar Square in the UK for the Deathly Hallows Part II and it was a tear fest. The cast and crew were crying, especially Emma Watson as she made a speech about her experience. The photos of them crying made me really sad. It breaks my heart. I couldn't even imagine. I'm only a fan and I can't even let Harry Potter go. It's been about twelve years. Twelve years I've been obsessing over these books and movies about this boy named Harry Potter. It was my entire childhood, and now my childhood is officially ending. In a week, it all ends.

You probably have figured out that this next week's roll of blogs that you will see from me will be about Harry Potter. Everything Harry. The first of them is the premiere and the gorgeous Oscar de la Renta tulle dress that Emma Watson wore as she bawled her pretty eyes out. I've been going on and on about how amazing she is and how amazing her sense of style is and the dress she wore was the perfect one to end her reign as Hermione Granger.

Won't you let me...

So for Christmas, one of my gifts was a Starbucks coffee cup for school. It's the one that has a template inside and you can make the cup your own by putting whatever you want inside.
I decided to put what I enjoy and looking at it now, I see the inspirations that guide me through my life. And now I can take my inspiration around with me. I want to share with you what inspires me. Song and dance inspire me, along with fashion sketches, Glee, Gossip Girl, photography, lace, Lady Gaga, Keira Knightley, Emma Watson, vinyl records and cassettes.
Enjoy.

Found you tripping on the stars...

Emma Watson, I love you dearly.
She is perfect and an inspiration.
I can't wait for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I.
Everyone should buy the new December issue of Marie Claire with Miss Emma on the cover. I already did.
Smiles.

I can't be tamed...

KATE MOSS - EMMA WATSON - FLORENCE WELCH - PIXIE GELDOF

I have decided I want to go to a music festival.
I don't even care which one. When I was in Santa Cruz, I talked to some people who went to Coachella 2010 and are going to Outside Lands next month and I'm green with envy. I will be in northern California when Treasure Island happens but I probably won't have money since I don't have the ability to save money.
The ultimate goal is Glastonbury since it's huge, but I will be happy with any.
I want to go really badly so I can see these beautiful people.

We're unforgettable...

Some visually stimulating things:
The Met Gala.

Katy Perry in her light up Cute Circuit dress.

Emma Watson in what else? Burberry.

Anne Hathaway in beautiful Valentino. I particularly love this one because it resembles a long version of my birthday dress. And seeing versions of my birthday dress just brings me incredible memories.

You are the one...

After a very long hard search of finding the perfect dress for my 18th birthday, I have FINALLY found it.
I thought it would never happen, but it did. And I am eternally grateful.
I won't post a picture because it will ruin the surprise. But this dress is like no other.
It is a perfect mix of two of the Emma Watson dresses I posted. I am so glad she grew up to be this high fashion inspiration goddess.

Another awesome thing, I booked my caterer for the cake. It's this place that's basically down my street and also around the corner from the Monrovian Restaurant where the party is going to be.

I drew a sketch of the cake and everything. I got inspiration from these.

Today was a very productive day. I'm very happy.

And I'm falling for you...

You may or may not know this, but I have this huge 18th birthday party coming up in January with a hundred of my closest family and friends coming to see me. Only one more month before it all happens. As every day passes me by, my blood pressure gets higher and higher.

I have a guest list and I sent invitations already.
I have a location for it and the food and everything is all set for that.
However, I will be going naked to this event because I have yet to find the perfect dress with which to move into adulthood.

But I have some ideas. And it turns out, all of my ideas turn me to Emma Watson.

Especially this Burberry number.
