And we'll conquer them all...

If you haven't read my last post, I'm basically trying to do this thing where I post my outfits a lot for you guys, whether it'd be on Instagram or on here. I just want to show you guys what I'm wearing even though it might not be the greatest thing in the world. It'll give you some peeks into my life if you don't already follow me on Instagram. I do most of my updating on there and on Twitter.

So anyway, yesterday was just what I wanted, which is a very random outfit post that I didn't even think about doing until Veronica suggested it. I went to work and she picked me up afterward and decided that we would go on a day trip to Capitola. We drove by the beautiful beach and also found this amazing vintage shop which is now our new favorite place. I found some great stuff I can't wait to style. We ended with an amazing din full of tacos and horchata. Smiles.

DIY SANTA CRUZ T-SHIRT/ DIY STUDDED CUTOFFS/ SANDALS - KENNETH COLE REACTION/ VINTAGE DOONEY BAG/ LE SPECS SUNGLASSES

Yay for an outfit post finally! Even though it's just a simple beach outfit. But yes, I along with Veronica and Shawn, went to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk yesterday and walked around and got some sun. I'm not super pasty anymore which is good. Smiles.
It was our first trip to the beach this quarter and I'm looking forward to many more.

Afterwards, we kind of went on an adventure looking for hair stuff and last night we all went a little crazy. I re-ombréd my hair, Shawn buzzed his hair and might bleach it, and I put pink tips in Veronica's hair. If you follow me on Instagram, I posted a very stereotypical bathroom picture of the three of us. Smiles.

I have yet to put up an actual photo of my hair for all to see so keep a look out for that. It's really blonde this time. But I always say, change is good.

If you haven't seen her in her new Lancôme commercial for Trésor Midnight Rose, first, shame on you for not seeing it because she's gorgeous. But it's all good, I've come to rescue you. Enjoy.



Lovely. I think she looks absolutely beautiful. Enough said.

Another thing. I'm going to the beach tomorrow for the first time this summer, which is unacceptable for me because it's almost fall. But I'm excited. I'm doing a mini photoshoot with the bester Rosee Rose.

So this past weekend to start off my Spring Break officially, bester Rosee Rose and her amazing camera (first picture) decided we should all take a Metro trip to Santa Monica.

It's a good thing we did too, because it started raining hard as balls the next day, and it still is. I don't understand this. I bet by the end of Spring Break, it'll be super warm outside. That's how life works out for me. But what can you do?

It doesn't matter because I had an amazeballs time.

Oh and I just came home from a fun photoshoot with Jeffy and Rosee at Rosee's school (Art Center in Pasadena). I can't wait to see how it turned out.

It's a bad dream...

Life can change in a matter of moments.

The past couple days have been pretty rough. But it's always rough when people in your life are suddenly not. I have to let go but I can't just yet. Being away from home at a time like this isn't really ideal at the moment but I have my Santa Cruz peeps to cheer me up. Or try to cheer me up. Even the weird summer in February weather isn't cheering me up. I'm missing it more as every day passes by, the way things were. I just have to get used to it.
It's really hard expressing delicate feelings on a blog like this and I don't want to bum people out by doing it. I guess I'll stop here.

On the bright side, some cheering up happened yesterday. Shawn surprised me with a little drive to Davenport Beach a little ways from Santa Cruz. It was beautiful. But even though I had a great time running around taking pictures with Shawn, all I kept thinking about was who could have shared the view with me. We drove back to campus, not before taking a trip to get jalapeno cheese bread. That cheered me up. Food is always good.

More celebration.
Another one on my mother's actual birthday.
Because we love her.

We celebrated first at home, then the beach. Woot! Santa Monica.
The journey consisted of myself, my sis, parentals, and the beloved.

This is the beloved. And the beloved is Kenny.
He's been the beloved for about three months now.

So I bought a pair of bleached jeans since those are pretty in right now. I have seen them everywhere. I think I may have a first day of school outfit.

Do you want to go to the seaside?

I wanted to. And I did last week! With some of my favorite people.

I really needed this day and it turned out to be pretty amazing. We had a bonfire and ate marshmallows and Doritos, you know the usual. I haven't been to the beach this entire summer so I have to say it was a must.
