Can you feel it...

Wow so the whole month of April went by and I didn't blog at all. That has not happened in a very long time and for that I am very sorry. And here I am with the excuses again. I will be graduating in a month so I've just been preparing for that and working a lot and hanging out with my lovelies.
I just wanted to get this post out real quick just to show you guys what I've been wearing pretty much every day. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed a trend in my color choice lately. I mean it's always been a thing but I feel like it's been a stronger thing recently.

I've been thinking about a lot of stuff recently just about life and people. I'm kind of at a lull right now, it's weird because I do a lot but I feel like I'm doing very little. I just really need a change of pace right now. I can't wait to graduate and start fresh in a new place.

Just some random thoughts for you. I'm also currently in Monrovia visiting for the weekend. It's nice to get a break from life, even if it's just for a hot second.

Love is too happy to bring me down...

Hi lovelies!

I finally have time to post on here about my spring break I had in LA with the man and the fam. 

I'm still currently on spring break at the moment and I'm pretty much just resting now. I have my last quarter before I graduate at UC Santa Cruz starting next week and I'm pretty stoked on that.

So I haven't formally introduced the man on here yet, but you may have seen him a bit in the past couple of posts. The man is Daniel and he's pretty much my favorite. He's been the man for a while now and thinking about that makes me incredibly happy. But enough sappy.

We left for LA last Thursday and right when we got there it was just one thing after another, doing as much as we can, seeing as many people as we can, and then all of a sudden it was over. It was amazingly tiring and awesome at the same time. While we were there, we pretty much just ate food and went shopping and that was fine by us. It was very good to have him in my hometown and show him around and what not. This picture spam coming at you was our last full day in LA. We hung out with my fam at the Fairfax flea market and the Grove. It was great being in the LA sun.

A lot of things are going to be happening in the near future so hopefully I will be updating on all of that. As for now, I am scared and excited about what is to come and happy about everything that is happening now.

You make it hard to leave...

We're a couple days in but happy March my dears!
Just wanted to show you the adventure I had this past weekend in the Bay with the man. We love exploring and we finally had the time to show me all of his favorite places (or most of his favorite places) up here. We took the BART around and stopped for lunch, then did some shopping in Berkeley, then had dinner and drinks in Rockridge which was beautiful. Such a great time even though it was a little rainy. I thought I would share the outfit I wore and some snaps of the day. Can't wait for other shenanigans.

As you may have noticed recently, I've only been blogging outfit posts when I go to new places or really feel like doing an outfit post. If you want to see my everyday wear and stuffs, that's all on my Instagram. I've just been feeling a little bit overwhelmed by everything, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I have great people surrounding me, my sister and parents surprised me here in Santa Cruz the weekend before and it was incredible. I hadn't realized how much I actually missed them. I'm also graduating in the spring, which is simultaneously terrifying and exciting. The man and the besters continue to make me smile and laugh everyday. Work is going great, it's tough sometimes, to make everyone happy, but it's aces most of the time. I manage some awesome gals who have become my friends so it's wonderful.
I guess all I'm trying to say is that I am somewhat tired (both physically and mentally) with school stuff and work stuff and trying to divide my time with the people I love, but it's all good because I'm enjoying my life and I can honestly say that I am happy.
Yes I know I cannot articulate myself very well because it took forever and a day for me to say what I wanted to say. But anyway, so that's that. Smiles.

The end of this month is my spring break and I'm so excited to be going to LA for a handful of days with the man to show him around. It's going to be good. Also I miss LA weather.

In some velvet morning...

I apologize for not having any Valentine-y outfits for you and also not even getting any pictures from my wonderful night out with the man on Valentine's Day but I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I did. I just hate that I have to go back to reality, especially since school is kinda kicking my ass at the moment. But anyway, enough about that.

So I actually have never done one of these before so I thought why the hell not? It's a "What's In My Bag" post. Maybe it's because it makes more sense when it's on a YouTube video, but I never thought about doing one of these.

Slowly but surely getting to post more on here. It may not seem like it to you, but I am. Just wanted to do a quick post on some awesomeness I was given recently.

As you may know, earlier this month I turned 22. I feel like I've been celebrating this entire month because I would receive random gifts from people I love, including Veronica. She got me these wolf tattoo tights and I was ecstatic. If you don't know about about my extreme love of wolves, now you do. Smiles.

Aren't they amazing? I went to work in them and a bunch of people thought I had a thigh tattoo. I've definitely thought about a thigh tattoo or just a tattoo in general but I'm still debating on what I would get. But it's a possibility for sure.
Anyway, thought I would share this with you guys. I'll have a real outfit post for you soon.

Happy late Christmas babies!

I'm back in Santa Cruz after a great week at home. I actually didn't know I was getting back so soon after Christmas but I think I might be back next week anyway. Also I surprised the boss man today at work and I feel like it really made his day and yeah I'm a happy girl. Smiles.

If you have followed me for a while, you know my fam and I celebrate together on Christmas Eve. And it was awesome. I'm really into the plaid trend thing right now so when I saw this skort at work, I knew I had to wear it on Christmas. It was kinda perfect.

With work and what not, maybe I'll see you guys in the new year, maybe sooner. I don't know but I hope you all have an amazing end to 2013! Love yous.

And time is frozen...

I'm back in Santa Cruz after the blur that was my holiday.

My Thanksgiving was really short and sweet. I had a couple days to see my favorite people and it was all I needed. My parents drove me back and they are currently still here enjoying Santa Cruz.

I'm surprised I even have the time to post since I'm working this whole weekend. I worked yesterday, yes I worked Black Friday. Not something to be desired. 

But anyway, here are some snaps of what I wore on Thanksgiving.

I saw this dress at work about two months ago and I knew I wanted to wear it on Thanksgiving. I'm really digging dark florals for the holiday season and this was kinda perfect.
I was really bummed out when I thought I wasn't going to get to come home this year, but it all worked out. So it's a happy story. Smiles.

Bound to fall in love...

It's late and I should be sleeping, but I have left packing to the last minute yet again. I think it seems to be some sort of tradition for me.

Yes, by the grace of Yeezus, I am going home for Thanksgiving. It's only going to be for a couple days but that is enough for me. I mainly just want to see some awesome peeps, eat food that I didn't buy or make, and take a break from Santa Cruz for even just a little. 

I decided I would just do a quick post about my current favorite thing at the moment which is this dress.

It's kind of perfect really, especially since I had been looking for something exactly like this for ages and then it just showed up at work. Smiles.
Also can we please talk about how wonderful Catching Fire was? Go see it if you haven't.

By the way ya'll should watch this version of Kanye's weird ass music video. Thousand times better.

More Vegas stuff for ya!

This was what I wore later on in the night after all the hardcore shopping we did earlier in the day. We got all dolled up for my momma's birthday and had an awesome dinner at the Paris Hotel and saw a show there.

It's unfortunate that I didn't get more photos of my outfit but we worked with what we got. The dress I wore has this amazing lace panel that spans my entire back and it's amazeballs.

I miss Vegas so much.

Anyway so we're almost done with this Vegas thing, don't worry. I got some fun New York Fashion Week stuff coming soon and a recent outfit post from this last Friday in San Jose. 

Another thing, I'm going home for a couple days next week and I'm going to have a ball. Smiles.

Also in honor of today, we'll never forget. RIP to the victims of 9/11.
