Don't make me stop now...

VINTAGE HEAD WRAP AND LEATHER VEST/ SKELETON TANK - BRANDY MELVILLE/ URBAN OUTFITTERS PANTS

So this past weekend we celebrated my mom's 59th birthday. I love that woman. I want to look like her when I'm 59. She's the best and cutest mom ever. Smiles.
We had lunch in Burbank yesterday and then saw The Bourne Legacy which I enjoyed. Her actual birthday is today so my parents and I had lunch before my dad went to work. I spent the entire day with my mom. It was nice.

Some updates:
- I bought The Hunger Games on DVD last week and I've seen probably fifty times already. Smiles.
- Cool things are happening, cool things like guest blogging and night shoots. Can't wait to show you.
- I've been reading a lot lately. I forgot how much I love it.
- Fall is coming soon. I am ecstatic for knits and boots.
- I'm having a big thrift store shopping day soon with the besties Jeff and Eddie. Yay clothes!

See you beautiful people very soon. xo

Faster than my bullet...

These past five days, which felt like ten days, were the best ever. Bestie Veronica came down and hung out with the gang in Monrovia and had a jammin' time.
We went The Americana in Glendale, and Burbank for the car show and to visit my sister at her work. It was super fun and I went into It's a Wrap! for the first time and I fell in love with a clutch that I couldn't afford. But anyway.
Last night I also said goodbye to besters Kristen and Christine since they're going off to college. So early. I don't go back until next month.
But yeah, Vern also left this afternoon, not before sneaking in a trip to the mall to get boba since it's her new favorite, and some Cuban food at Merengue. I was really sad. But only a month left now before I get to reunite with the Santa Cruz peeps. Woo.
Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Now enjoying some end of the weekend In-N-Out and coconut water. Beautiful.

We may only have tonight...

Today is my birthday even though technically it isn't because it's past midnight. But still.
I just had to share my beautiful day with you.
I got to wear the cardigan that my sister got me for Christmas from her work, Max Studio. We had a yummy Wokcano lunch and coffee in Burbank and then spent the rest of the night with the boyf, Christine, and Kristen at his house eating ice cream and scrambled eggs and bacon.
I'm going home later today which makes me sad, but I'm excited to see the Santa Cruz peeps.

I'll think of you tonight...

Last night, I had a great time with my cousins, sister and Geo, and the boyf. We celebrated my going away to Santa Cruz by having a nice din din at Wokcano in Burbank.

It was really yummy.
I just got sad afterwards because I realized that I'm leaving pretty soon.
That means I gotta get packing. Smiles.

So this is the new year...

The first day of 2010 was a great one.

I celebrated my 18th birthday with the family in Burbank.

I got some presents from the sister and the Geo.

Yay Glee.

A fur vest. A fashion staple.

We watched Nine which was amazing and ate at Market City Cafe where we found that the breadsticks there were hella yum.

My birthday is in about thirty minutes. So I'm going to spend the last minutes of my 17th year listening to Glee.
Always a good choice.

The city is at war...

I went street hopping from Broadway in Chinatown to San Fernando Blvd. in Burbank.
I had an amazing Chinese lunch with some family.

My cute little mom perfectly embracing her surroundings.

Then my parents and I jetted off to see my sis and Geo.

After some discussion, we all decided to get some sushi at Kabuki.
It made me incredibly happy for I had not had sushi in months.
How that happened I really do not know.

It was a very long day especially because after we said goodbye to my sister and Geo we drove home and anticipated my aunts and uncles to come over.
But all in all, it was very successful because:
-I finally wore my floral romper.
-I saw my awesome sister and her awesome Geo.
-I bought a black bowler hat from Urban Outfitters for only $4.99.
-I had an amazing Sunkissed Roll at Kabuki.

Success!
