Just sing little darling...

Part 2 of my spring break posts: Veronica's last couple of days

Whenever Veronica visits, it's like two weeks combined into four days, which makes us exhausted but I think it's worth it. But it's not like we're hiking or anything, we're shopping and eating which are equivalents to sports in my opinion. Smiles.
We went to The Grove in Los Angeles with the family, Old Town Pasadena, and the street fair on Myrtle later on with Christine. While in Pasadena, I bought my first MAC Cosmetics lipstick which is the Viva Glam Nicki. It's super pink and smells like baked goods and I love it. I'll post about it later maybe. The next day was another long day. We went thrifting with Andy man and bester Kristen at two of my favorite thrift stores and I found great stuff. Some DIY projects in the making. So excited.
We had dinner and boba with the rest of the crew and that was fantast. She left the next day which was a bummer but we had a great weekend. It was perfect timing too since the weather became pretty sucky. Here are photos from the only day I actually took pictures.

Let your colors burst...

Happy 4th one and all!
Almost about to leave for Myrtle Ave. to have a picnic with the fam before the fireworks show.
I just thought I'd sneak in an outfit post. I had no idea what to wear today. I'm not really the festive type when it comes to Independence Day but I wanted to be. Just a little.
For those of you who don't know what to wear today, I made some sets on Polyvore for you to enjoy and get inspiration from. Love you all.
Enjoy the day.

Racing through my brain...

Happy 4th of July everyone!

So today I had a great time with friends and family on Myrtle Ave watching some fireworks and eating food. Ended the day with a grilled chee and sriracha (yes chee). Yum.

On another note, sorry I don't have any recent outfit posts. They are coming soon. I just need some inspiration.

Let's hear it...

So a couple of things:

1. A couple of days ago, I got my nails done at Urbane Beauty Care on Myrtle Ave. and I love them. It was my first time there since I wanted to try a new place out and plus I had a gift card that I got for my birthday so it was perfect. I found the perfect steel gray color at Target and it
wasn't expensive at all.

2. Yesterday was officially Senior Ditch Day and it was super. It was a really long day and I was very tired by the end of it, but it was worth it. We basically went everywhere. There were twenty of us and we all jumped on the Metro in Pasadena first thing in the morning and messed around in L.A. and on Olvera Street. Then we took a bus to Santa Monica and walked along the beach all the way to Venice. It was a pretty awesome. Then after that, the monkey and I went the Fiesta Carnival at my church, which is always fun. And it only happens once a year, every Memorial Day weekend. I had a great time. I love time with friends.

3. I am currently waiting for my sister and mother to come home so they can start helping me get ready for my senior prom, which is tonight. And I'm also waiting for my monkey to drop off the boutonniere I'm going to be putting on his amazing suit. We have pretty orchids.
I hope I have the greatest time ever tonight.
Smiles.

Just one night couldn't be so wrong...

Lately I have become a recluse. I haven't been out for a while with people other than family so yesterday I decided I was going out.

I had some bonding time with my bestie Kristen at my house then we trekked on over to the street fair on Myrtle. We had plans to see our friends Austin and Cameron play at Sierra Cup. We were a little bored so we went to my favorite back alley on Myrtle that looks so eclectic that we decided to take some pictures. Afterward, we walked around, met up with Austin and Cameron, and ate some Cuban food which made me so glad I listened to Kristen and tried it because it was something very close to wonderful if not wonderful. I love trying new foods and being happy I did.

At Sierra Cup, there were so many people who faithfully follow The Road to Mesa and came to see them that it was awesome. Kristen and I met up with Panchy, Beckie, and Christine and it was just a lot of girl talk and gossip which is always good once in a while.
So all in all it was a great night.
