It's technically still the 4th and I am still celebrating! I hope you are!

I just wanted to do a quick little post about today. I had a grand old time.

I got to leave work early, I made new friends, had some hot dogs and beers, and watched fireworks from a balcony. Pretty much the best day ever. 

My outfit was pretty simple. I figured I had enough patriotism going on up on my head so I kept the rest a little plain. I was happy I got to wear my American flag hat today even though wearing it today of all days is the most obnoxious thing ever. Today hipsters did their thing in their alternative American flag wear and people toasted to our nation's independence. Always a good time.

Hi all! So Part 2 of Veronica's stay will go up next week since the 4th of July just happened and I need to post about the trend of the year which is basically America.

The holiday when America became America. Every hipster in the United States rejoiced with their somewhat vintage patriotic tees and beers in their hands and just had a grand old time.

This American flag trend has been around for years. It was big in the 90's and it's even bigger today. It's all over Pinterest and Tumblr and my sister, who is obsessed.

I found this shirt a couple months ago at a thrift store in Santa Cruz and I fell in love. It's something a grandmother would wear which is one of my favorite things ever when I'm looking at vintage clothes. The shirt isn't an obvious American flag which was nice and come on, it had sequins on it. I had to get it.
I mean, the American flag just looks cool. Plus, you're giving your country some love. It's a win-win.

Happy 4th one and all!

Almost about to leave for Myrtle Ave. to have a picnic with the fam before the fireworks show.

I just thought I'd sneak in an outfit post. I had no idea what to wear today. I'm not really the festive type when it comes to Independence Day but I wanted to be. Just a little.

Racing through my brain...

Happy 4th of July everyone!

So today I had a great time with friends and family on Myrtle Ave watching some fireworks and eating food. Ended the day with a grilled chee and sriracha (yes chee). Yum.

On another note, sorry I don't have any recent outfit posts. They are coming soon. I just need some inspiration.
